Grant Leadbitter will miss Ipswich's Carling Cup semi-final first leg clash with Arsenal through suspension. The former Sunderland midfielder will be absent as he serves the second of a three-match ban, but Celtic defender Darren O'Dea and Tottenham midfielder Jake Livermore have both been given permission to play by their parent clubs. Captain Gareth McAuley should continue in the side following his recovery from an Achilles injury, but goalkeeper Brian Murphy will be out for at least three months with an ankle injury. Winger Shane O'Connor also remains sidelined with a ruptured and dislocated shoulder and midfielder Luke Hyam (hamstring) complete a lengthy injury list.
