Kennedy blow for Ipswich Town

Ipswich will be without the versatile Mark Kennedy against Reading.

Kennedy - who can play in midfield or at left-back - suffered a hamstring in the 2-0 win at his former club Cardiff on Saturday and will be out for several weeks.

On-loan Celtic man Darren O`Dea replaced Kennedy at full-back at Cardiff and should start.

Midfielder Jimmy Bullard scored twice in Wales to give Town victory and will keep his place but Colin Healy has been ruled out with the stomach injury he sustained at QPR last month.

Captain David Norris made a surprise return last week and will start after injuries to his ankle and knee.

Goalkeeper Brian Murphy has stepped up his comeback from a broken ankle after coming out of plaster but Marton Fulop will continue.
