Keane targets new faces for Town

Town have endured a difficult start to the season as they have yet to pick up a win from their first four games in the Championship. Keane is looking to bolster his squad and is hopeful of making a few additions to help the side out of their slump. "We are running out of time, obviously we are aware we have got loan options, but I think we need one or two players who we know are going to be Ipswich Town players for the next year or two," Keane told Sky Sports News. Keane accepts responsibility for Ipswich's poor form, but is confident things will soon turn around once the new-look squad gels together. "I am the manager so I have got the responsibility for that," Keane said of Ipswich's start. "It has just not clicked into gear. "If you consider the players we have lost from the end of last season, the injuries this year and it is not a criticism of any individual players it's just as a group we are a bit short at this moment in time. "Whether it may be experience or not we need one or two characters and we will try and do that over the next few days." Coca Cola Ch'ship Promotion 09/10 Win Outright: Ipswich 8/1
