Keane learning about Town squad
The Tractor Boys were beaten 2-1 by the Irish side, with 16-year-old Connor Wickham on target for Town.
Keane's charges were due to return to Ipswich on Wednesday before flying out to Portugal to continue their preparations for the new season.
"Finn Harps did well, they did exactly what I expected of them and showed good fitness levels," Keane told the club's official website.
"I learned a lot about one or two of my players and am taking stock very quickly of what we have and what we don't have."
