Keane hails Town support

Ipswich manager Roy Keane has set his sights on filling Portman Road this season after praising the club's 'magnificent' support. Town's best attendance so far was the 27,059 who turned up to see Newcastle inflict a 4-0 hammering back in September but Keane is confident of reaching the 30,000 mark before the end of the campaign. He told the club's official website: "Our fans have been magnificent this season. They could easily have lost patience with some of the players, the team and myself but they haven't done that and we all appreciate that. "Some of my players have disappeared down the tunnel too quickly for my liking after some games without showing thanks to the supporters but that won't happen again - you can be sure about that. "I want us to get up to 30,000 and see the place full up but that will only come with us winning football matches."
