Keane hails Murphy's performance

Ipswich manager Roy Keane paid tribute to goalkeeper Brian Murphy following their 1-0 extra-time win at Crewe in the second round of the Carling Cup. David Norris ended the Railwaymen's brave effort when he fired home a volley in the 11th minute of extra time after a tired Crewe side failed to clear a corner. The League Two side, who knocked out Derby in round one, had the better chances to win the game before running out of steam. Keane said: "Our back four will be pleased with the clean sheet but I thought Brian Murphy was very good in goal. "He made some good saves, his decision-making was good, he was sharp, he commanded his box very well and his body language was good. "I'm just hoping for a home draw now after seven cup games on the road just for the fans who would save a few bob after so many away draws."
