Keane enthused by home tie

Ipswich manager Roy Keane was pleased to bring an end to the club's away run in cup competitions after being drawn against Northampton in the Carling Cup.

The Tractor Boys will host Liverpool's conquerors at the end of October after a prolonged spell of cup games on the road.

"We're pleased to be at home and surprised," Keane said. "After eight in a row away from home, I'm glad for the supporters that we are at Portman Road but that game is a long way off.

"Our priority now is Reading on Tuesday and nothing else."
