Josh Carson's third goal in two games gave 10-man Ipswich a shock 1-0 win at Bristol City. Town grabbed the points after they survived an unrelenting first-half assault. Jamal Campbell-Ryce, Nicky Maynard, Jordan Spence and Jon Stead were held at bay by the remarkable Arran Lee-Barrett in the Ipswich goal. Lee Martin was dismissed for a late tackle on Kalifa Cisse before the break only for Carson to conjure up a stunning strike and snatch victory against the run of play. The youngster unleashed a low drive from distance which beat David James to stun the home crowd in the 52nd minute.
