Ipswich boss Paul Jewell is delighted to have Argentine winger Luciano Civelli available following his recovery from a serious knee injury.
The 24-year-old made his first appearance for Town in 22 months when he came on as a late substitute in the 3-0 home win over Sheffield United on Saturday.
Civelli sustained the knee ligament injury against Burnley in March 2009 and, after a setback in his recovery, only made his comeback for the reserves last autumn before making his return to the first-team squad in the last month.
Jewell told the club's official website: "Luca has had a tough time with a serious injury but he's back in contention now.
"He's been involved in training since I've been here and has shown a good attitude. We're delighted to have him in our squad.
"He reminds me of Kevin Kilbane in the way he runs and being back on the pitch and in the team should add to his confidence."
Civelli has only featured nine times for the Tractor Boys since joining from home country club Banfield in January 2009.
