Jewell hails Bullard impact

Ipswich manager Paul Jewell was pleased with the character of his side after they came from behind to triumph 2-1 at Derby but immediately insisted there's plenty of room for improvement. County raced into an early lead through Alberto Bueno but Town fought back and claimed all three points thanks to goals either side of half-time from new signing Jimmy Bullard and David Norris. Jewell said: "I think we have shown character, we said to the players we have won a game but there's so much more we can do better which is an encouraging sign. "There are little shoots of progress but we don't want to get carried away. But we have shown character to come back from conceding an early goal." He continued: "It was a good strike from Jimmy. He gives us something different, he wants to get on the ball all the time, he's enthusiastic, he can play and he gives us a different dimension."
