Jewell fumes at sloppy Ipswich

Ipswich boss Paul Jewell lamented his side's error-strewn performance as they lost 3-0 at home to Watford.

The Tractor Boys enjoyed most of the possession but lacked a cutting edge in front of goal and pressed the self-destruct button in their own box.

"We give goals away for fun and aren't ruthless enough in either box," Jewell admitted.

"The first goal was a catalogue of errors, almost comical, and then you're always playing catch-up.

"The second then summed us up because after playing some pretty passes, we were brushed off the ball and the next thing we know it's in the back of the net."

Goal from Troy Deeney, Danny Graham and Don Cowie wrapped up the points for the Hornets.
