Reo-Coker missing for Ipswich

Nigel Reo-Coker will miss Ipswich's home clash against Nottingham Forest through injury.

The midfielder was forced off with a hamstring problem 10 minutes from time in Saturday's 1-1 draw against fellow strugglers Peterborough and is already a major doubt for Saturday's trip to Bolton.

Youngster Luke Hyam stepped in to replace Reo-Coker against Posh and will feature from the off versus Forest for his first start under new boss Mick McCarthy.

Hyam will line up in the middle of the park alongside Guirane N'Daw, who has been passed fit having played on at the weekend despite suffering a nasty cut to his head which required lengthy treatment.

Striker Tyrone Barnett comes into contention for his debut having been ineligible to face parent club Peterborough at the weekend just days after his loan move between the two clubs.

On-loan West Ham goalkeeper Stephen Henderson will continue between the sticks for Town despite his recent criticism.

Nottingham Forest will be without Simon Cox.

Cox has been ruled out with the ankle injury he suffered during the second half of the 2-1 win over Wolves on Saturday. Dexter Blackstock is expected to replace the Republic of Ireland international in attack, partnering Billy Sharp.

Manager Sean O'Driscoll will check on the fitness of defender Greg Halford (calf) and midfielders Andy Reid and Jermaine Jenas - all of whom missed out at Molineux through injury - before finalising his plans.

Victory at Portman Road would see Forest record three successive npower Championship wins for the first time since May 2011 and could move them into the play-off places, if results elsewhere go in their favour.
