Tractor boys miss Mings

Ipswich will be without defender Tyrone Mings for their home clash with Huddersfield.

Mings collected his fifth booking of the season in Tuesday's 3-1 defeat at Cardiff and will now serve a one-match ban.

That will likely see Jonathan Parr return to his preferred left-back slot with Luke Chambers slotting in at right-back

Only midfielder Luke Hyam (hip) occupies the treatment room as Town go in search of a first win in five games.

Huddersfield boss Chris Powell is hoping on-loan striker Grant Holt and winger Sean Scannell can both overcome knocks in time.

Holt took a bang in the face in the midweek home draw against Brighton and Scannell was forced out late in the game with a bout of cramp.

Powell named an unchanged starting line-up again on Tuesday night and has no other injury or suspension concerns as his side bid to extend their unbeaten run to six matches.

Striker Martin Paterson is closing in on his first start of the season following his recovery from a knee injury, while winger Danny Ward, defender Lee Peltier and striker Nahki Wells are all in contention.
