Teddy Bishop doubtful for Ipswich clash with derby

Ipswich are set to be without Teddy Bishop for the visit of Derby because of a hamstring injury which forced him off during the Boxing Day match against QPR.

Kevin Bru, though, could be available again having missed the goalless draw at Portman Road as he was attending a funeral.

Midfielder Cole Skuse (ankle) will be assessed, along with Flynn Downes (calf) and Tom Adeyemi (hamstring). Defender Tristan Nydam has been struggling with hip and groin problems so remains doubtful.

Emyr Huws has been ruled out for the rest of the season after undergoing knee surgery, while Luke Hyam and Andre Dozzell are also unavailable following their respective knee operations.

Derby will check on Bradley Johnson after an injury forced him off at Hull on Boxing Day.

The midfielder fell awkwardly after being fouled and it could force Rams boss Gary Rowett to change his starting line-up for the first time in four matches.

Tom Lawrence has had to settle for a place among the substitutes following his return from an ankle injury but Johnson's absence could open the door for him to return to the team against his former club.

Forward Johnny Russell could come into the reckoning for a recall should Rowett opt to freshen up his side.
