Stephen in Hunt for Town start

Stephen Hunt is pushing for a recall as Ipswich play host to Bolton.

The midfielder was rested to the bench for Tuesday's 1-1 draw against Leeds having put in a superb performance in last Saturday's 2-0 win over Reading before being forced off due to fatigue.

Loan signing Frazer Richardson also made the bench at Elland Road following his arrival from Middlesbrough but is still awaiting his Town debut.

Seventh-placed Ipswich, with just one victory in their last six Championship matches, are not expected to boast any new injury or suspension concerns.

Tim Ream will feature for Bolton despite breaking his nose in midweek.

The United States international required three stitches after sustaining the injury in a clash with QPR striker Charlie Austin, but boss Dougie Freedman confirmed he will be available.

Freedman could be further boosted by the return of striker Jermaine Beckford, who is nearing a return from a hamstring injury.

Defender David Wheater will come back into full training on Monday following a long-term knee problem while Stuart Holden, who has a similar problem, will return to the country next week after undergoing rehabilitation in the United States.
