Clarke made an instant impression with a hat-trick on his debut and although he has not scored in two games since then, Gray is eager to keep him at Sixfields.[LNB]"We are grateful to Ipswich for allowing Billy to come here to play first team football and hopefully we will be able to extend his loan beyond the initial month but we will cross that bridge when we come to it," he told the club's official website.[LNB]"I'm in dialogue with Jim Magilton at Ipswich and obviously the better Ipswich do the more beneficial that will be to us.[LNB]"Billy has obviously missed two games of his loan spell which is frustrating for everybody but hopefully when his month on loan is up Ipswich won't recall him and he'll be able to catch those games up."[LNB][LNB]
