Dos Santos to get Spurs treatment
The Mexican international, who is on loan from White Hart Lane, has withdrawn from the national squad because of the problem he picked up in the draw with Watford but could return later this week provided he gets the all clear from Spurs.
"Giovani trained on Friday and Saturday but his groin was still niggling him a little bit," physio Matt Byard told the Tractor Boys' official website.
"Mexico didn't want to risk him for their game on Wednesday so he's going back to Tottenham to be assessed. Obviously if he's okay, we'd like to get him back training on Thursday or Friday and take it from there but it will be all down to what Tottenham say."
