Campbell, a £2million arrival from Birmingham in July 2007, seemed destined to be shown the door after he was sent on loan to Blackpool last season. However, the 27-year-old was included in the Foxes' squad for the first time in 10 months against Coventry last weekend and was brought on as a substitute for the final half hour. Campbell is determined to resurrect his career at the club and told the Leicester Mercury: "I spoke to the gaffer numerous times to discuss things and everything is fine now. "I have nothing but praise for the gaffer because he has kept me level-headed. He has always said he wants me involved and finally I am. "Now I want to score the goals I am capable of and get Leicester into the Premiership, which is what I came here to do."
