The former QPR man has shone in his preferred position of centre-half in recent weeks as Roy Keane's side have embarked on a seven-match unbeaten run. A win at Bristol City this weekend could lift them out of the relegation zone and Delaney is in confident mood.[LNB]He told the club's official website: "That is the first aim, to get out of the bottom three.[LNB]"The games come thick and fast through December and there are a lot of points at stake but if we can keep going with the run we are on and pick up more wins then we'll see where it takes us.[LNB]"We are only 12 points off the play-offs but that is a long way off at the moment.[LNB]"Of course we can close the gap but one step at a time and the first priority is to get away from danger."[LNB][LNB]
