Town defender David Wright hopes to win a new deal at the club after his courrent contract expires at the end of June. Speaking of his prospects of a new contact, Wright told the EADT: "I've heard nothing at the moment. But I'd love to stay. "I do love playing for this club. When I came here three years ago, I wanted to achieve promotion with this club, and that's still exactly what I want to do."I want to be a part of it. But I haven't heard anything so we will have to wait and see. I was lucky enough to be a part of a promotion team at Wigan. I experienced it and it's a great, great feeling."That's what this club deserves, and the fans as well, and hopefully we'll achieve that next year."The club from top to bottom is totally different to what it was six months ago. It was always going to take time to settle in and we've had a real good second half of the season."
