Clarke strikes late

Clarke Carlisle's stoppage-time goal gave the 10 men of Burnley a 1-1 draw at npower Championship rivals Ipswich. Burnley looked like they would be made to pay for playing the last 10 minutes a man light following David Edgar's red card when David Norris scored with four minutes remaining. Edgar had been booked in the first period by referee Grant Hegley and saw red with 11 minutes left for a trip on Norris. And Norris finally broke the deadlock when Colin Healy delivered a deep corner from the right and Jon Stead guided a header down into the danger area from where the midfielder was able to flick in from in front of Brian Jensen for his third goal of the week. But the Clarets stole a point in stoppage time when Carlisle thundered in a header from Graham Alexander's corner.
