Chuck on song for Town

Two goals from David Norris ensured Ipswich boss Roy Keane enjoyed his 39th birthday with a 3-2 Carling Cup win after extra-time at Exeter. Ryan Harley broke the deadlock in the 54th minute with a fine shot that flew across goal and went in off the far post but substitute Ronan Murray headed Town level 10 minutes later. The Tractor Boys were in control now and grabbed their second goal in the 73rd minute when Norris lashed a low shot inside Paul Jones' near post. However, Harley levelled things up when he picked the ball up 25 yards from goal and crashed an unstoppable shot that flew in off the underside of the Ipswich crossbar. The Tractor Boys won it nine minutes into extra-time when Norris followed up to score after Jon Stead's shot had been saved by Jones.
