Inverness Caledonian Thistle boss Charlie Christie has denied he is interested in offering former Dundee United manager Craig Brewster a playing contract.
The 39-year-old player-manager has been looking for a route back into the game after being sacked by the Tannadice club last month.
Brewster netted 11 times in 33 appearances for Caley Thistle during his two years in charge of the Inverness club, but he will not be joining the playing staff according to Christie.
"I spent time with Craig at an SFA course this week and I know he's had a couple of offers to play in the First Division," he admitted.
"He was a quality player and person with us and he'll do a good job wherever he goes.
"But it's hard to imagine us turning back the clock and playing him."
