Niculae handed Thistle leave

Romania striker Marius Niculae appears to have moved closer to the Inverness Caley Thistle exit door after being given a week's leave.
The SPL club rejected a transfer bid from German side Kaiserslautern earlier this week and manager Craig Brewster has confirmed the striker will not travel on the club's pre-season tour to Denmark.
"Marius will not be coming with us to Denmark," he told the club's official website.
"The board have given him permission to sort out some personal stuff and we will see him again on our return.
"Marius is still a Caley Thistle player for another year and he will remain here until the board agrees a fee with another club."
Meanwhile, Brewster will run the rule over a potential replacement for Niculae after inviting Stoke City striker Adam Rooney for a trial.
The 21-year-old has struggled to break into the first team at the Britannina Stadium and has spent time on loan at Bury and Chesterfield in recent seasons.
