Inverness Caledonian Thistle striker Marius Niculae is hoping to make the Romania squad for the upcoming European Championships.
The 27-year-old scored ten goals in his first season with the Highlanders and has been named in an initial 26-man squad for Euro 2008 by national team coach Victor Piturca.
Niculae told the Press & Journal: "I do not know yet if Saturday was my last game for Inverness. It is not up to me 100 per cent and I am just looking to make the final cut for the Romanian national team.
"I have one more step after making the initial squad of 26, as three more players will drop out and I am looking forward to the championship finals.
"It is up to the club whether they want me here next season, but for the moment I am focused on my national team. It is very important for me.
"The club will get in touch with me and, hopefully, they will be positive about my future. But you never know what can happen.
"I would be pleased to honour the second year of my contract. I am sure I will score more goals next season."
