Inverness Caledonian Thistle captain Grant Munro has penned a two-year contract extension to keep him at the club until 2011. The 28-year-old defender was out of contract at the end of the current season and had been locked in talks over a new deal since September. "I'm really pleased to have agreed a new contract with the club," Munro told the club's official website. "To be playing in the SPL for my home-town team has been like a dream come true and my career has gone better than I could have imagined." Meanwhile, Thistle have handed a trial to Ghana midfielder Ibrahim Atiku. The 25-year-old has been capped once by the Black Stars.
