Munro happy with deal talks

Inverness Caledonian Thistle captain Grant Munro is close to agreeing a new contract with the club.

No fewer than 11 of Craig Brewster's first-team squad are nearing the end of their current deals with the club and Munro hopes the other players follow his lead.

He told the Daily Record: "I'm like anyone with a young family - I've a lot to consider.

"There are many elements to the discussions and you're never going to agree to everything in your first discussion.

"I don't think there will be any problems in the talks. I hope others will follow. It would be great if we could maintain the core of the squad we have here. I'm confident things will go through okay."
