Kerr thankful to Butcher

Inverness Caledonian Thistle midfielder Brian Kerr has thanked manager Terry Butcher for giving him a chance to impress with the SPL strugglers.
The 27-year-old had previously worked with Butcher at Motherwell and is happy to have been given a short-term deal with the Highlanders after leaving Hibernian earlier this season.
He told the Press & Journal: "Terry Butcher has been a massive influence on me.
"When I was at Motherwell I had a bad injury and he gave me a new deal which I appreciated then.
"I was kind of finding it difficult to get something else sorted out and he has come along and saved me again.
"I owe him a lot and, hopefully, I can pay him back over the next few weeks and months. I am confident I can do that and that's why I came here."
