Butcher expects Horan to face Hibs

Inverness manager Terry Butcher expects Clydesdale Bank Premier League young player of the month Aaron Doran to recover from illness in order to face Hibernian.

Doran was unable to collect his award on Thursday but should face Hibs.

Nick Ross (shoulder) and Simon King (ankle) are moving towards a comeback while defender Chris Hogg remains out with a knee injury.

Inverness have also extended a loan spell for Arsenal striker Philip Roberts until the end of the season.

The Republic of Ireland youth international has scored one goal in 12 games for Caley Thistle.

Leigh Griffiths is a doubt for Hibernian.

The SPL's top scorer hobbled off with an ankle injury during the second half of the Edinburgh derby at Easter Road last Sunday, when Hibs advanced to the fifth-round of the William Hill Scottish Cup at the expense of holders Hearts.

Midfielder Gary Deegan (jaw), captain James McPake (back) and his fellow defender Tim Clancy (groin) are nearing returns.

Manager Pat Fenlon has told his Hibernian players to move on from the defeat of Hearts and focus on continuing their fine start to the league season.

After the joyous celebrations at Easter Road, Fenlon's side return to SPL duty two points above Inverness in second place in the SPL and one point behind leaders Celtic.

Fenlon said: "When we lose games we're disappointed but they get over it fairly quickly and when we win them the same thing - the key is to put it aside.

"Beating Hearts means a lot more to the supporters, but from our point of view it's just another win and we need to move on from it.

"With the game coming thick and fast again on Saturday, that's where the focus has been."
