Williams eyes strong Caley finish
Inverness midfielder Danny Williams is determined to finish the season strongly.
Caley Thistle started off their Scottish Premiership campaign with six wins out of seven, the other game being a draw at Celtic.
But they have tailed off amid injuries to captain Richie Foran and the departure of manager Terry Butcher in November.
And John Hughes' side are now only a point above sixth-placed St Johnstone following their 6-0 loss at Parkhead on Sunday.
Ahead of the visit of Dundee United on Saturday, Williams said: "We want to finish strongly. we started strongly and it would be nice to finish with nine points.
"We can beat anyone on our day and we have to put Celtic out of our mind."
Williams made one of his 10 starts of the campaign against Celtic and he admits it has not been easy to break into the first team.
"It's been difficult because the starting 11 from the beginning of the season have been getting results," said the 26-year-old, who joined Caley Thistle from Kendal Town last summer.
"It's been difficult for the subs because we have not had too much of a chance.
"I'm happy because when needed I'm playing. We've had a couple of injuries and it has given a few of the lads a start.
"The gaffer is trying things that he wants to implement next season. It's important that we finish strongly and put his methods in place."
