Injury woe for Wyness

Inverness Caledonian Thistle striker Dennis Wyness faces a spell on the sidelines after dislocating a shoulder in the 4-1 loss at former club Hearts.

The 29-year-old had to be replaced just before half-time at Tynecastle, with Caley boss Charlie Christie hopeful that Wyness will be back in action sooner rather than later.

He said: "Dennis came off injured and it is a dislocation, so it is just as well there are no SPL games next weekend.

"He will certainly miss the Motherwell game, but our medical team say there is a chance he could be ready for the home game with Dundee United the following week.

"We have to wait and see, but it is a worry we could do without."
