Golabek ponders Caley exit

Inverness Caledonian Thistle defender Stuart Golabek accepts that he is likely to leave the club this summer, as he goes in search of regular first-team football.

The 32-year-old has been on loan at Livingston since January and says he is set to move on, despite having another 12 months left on his Caley contract.

He told the Daily Record: "Hopefully I'll be able to speak to the manager this week and get my future sorted out so I know what's happening.

"I still have another year left on my contract with Caley Thistle, but I now feel I'm at the stage of my career where I need to be playing regularly week in week out.

"So perhaps the time has come for me to start being that little bit more selfish and start looking after myself."

Golabek has been with Caley since the summer of 1999, making well over 200 appearances for the Highlanders.
