Duff desperate to end cup disappointment

Stuart Duff is looking to make up for past cup disappointments by helping Inverness to a shock Scottish Cup quarter-final win over Celtic. The versatile player has been on the receiving end of several upsets in recent years as a member of an Aberdeen team whose recent conquerors included the likes of Queen's Park, Queen of the South, Dunfermline and Raith Rovers.Duff reached the Scottish Cup final with Dundee United in 2005 but his day started and ended in disappointment, being dropped to the substitutes' bench before failing to prevent a 1-0 defeat to Celtic. So he is eager to enjoy the Scottish Cup clash against Neil Lennon's side at the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium on Sunday."I came on as a second-half substitute," Duff said of his Hampden final experience. "I was really disappointed not to start, I had played every game for three months. To get dropped was tough, there were reasons behind it."I have enjoyed my cup runs. I didn't have the best of times at Aberdeen, we got knocked out by a few lower-league teams and didn't perform on the day. I'm really looking forward to Sunday."
