Inverness Caledonian Thistle manager Craig Brewster admitted that his side had given their worst display under his charge in the 5-0 thrashing at Rangers.
The Highlanders were five goals down by half-time at Ibrox, with Brewster's only saving grace being that his side improved slightly after the restart.
He said: "It was the worst 45 minutes I've seen from a Caley Thistle side. If we'd started the second half as we had the first, it would have been a long, long day.
"In the first half everyone stood off one another, no-one wanted to go forward and we just passed it about.
"We got back a bit of credibility and pride in the second half."
