Inverness Caledonian Thistle defender Phil McGuire has been ruled out for several weeks by an ankle injury sustained in the 2-1 defeat by Celtic.
The 28-year-old had to be replaced early in the second half of the clash with the Bhoys, with a subsequent x-ray revealing no break.
Manager Craig Brewster told the Press & Journal: "Phil McGuire could be out for anything from two to four weeks.
"I have looked at the incident again and there did not look anything in it but it has become a bad injury.
"It was a strange one, as Aiden McGeady challenged him but there was not much contact.
"We have had bad luck with our centre-halves this season, but we just have to deal with it."
