Caley aim to inflict fresh Cup blow to Celtic

Inverness Caledonian Thistle were given a fresh incentive to get through to the fifth round of the Scottish Cup after being drawn against holders Celtic on Monday.

Caley have twice knocked the Hoops out of the tournament this century but in order to do so again this season they must first beat Dunfermline in a fourth round replay.

Rangers will face 2010 winners Dundee United at Ibrox.

The draw, conducted by Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas and former Italy coach Marcello Lippi, gave Aberdeen a home tie against Queen of the South while Hibernian will welcome either Dundee or Kilmarnock to Easter Road.

Meanwhile St Johnstone will be looking to beat Hearts at Tynecastle for the second season running.

The ties will be played on the weekend of February 4-5

St Mirren or Hamilton v Ross County

Inverness or Dunfermline v Celtic

Ayr v Falkirk

Rangers v Dundee United

Hearts v St Johnstone
