Butcher signs Inverness extension

Terry Butcher has signed a new one-year contract to remain manager of Inverness Caledonian Thistle until the end of season 2010-11.Assistant Maurice Malpas has also penned a new deal to stay at Caledonian Stadium for the same period. Their contracts had been due to expire in the summer. Butcher told BBC Scotland: "The club needed some stability and we needed that as well and we can now build on what we are trying to do here."
