Butcher hails Morais display

Inverness Caley Thistle matchwinner Filipe Morais took the plaudits after his two goals secured a crucial 2-1 victory at home to fellow strugglers St Mirren.

The Highlanders moved four points clear of the foot of the table thanks to the win, with Morais the undoubted star of the show.

Boss Terry Butcher said: "I was actually looking at playing Andy Barrowman, but Filipe Morais has impressed me since I came back from Scotland duty.

"I thought he did very well for us at Ibrox and he gives us that something different that you need, particularly at home. He produced two bits of magic.

"You look for somebody to do that something special, because that can be the difference between you staying up and going down."
