Former Scotland boss Craig Brown could return to management with Inverness Caledonian Thistle early next week.
Brown is on a shortlist of three to succeed John Robertson at Caley and has already been interviewed for the position.
Dunfermline's veteran striker Craig Brewster and former Rangers stalwart Richard Gough are the other men under consideration, but director of football Graeme Bennett is waiting on Brown's feedback from their meeting.
"We've spoken to Craig (Brown) in depth and he's got the weekend to think it over," Bennett told BBC Sport.
"We've spoken to Craig Brewster as well and he would be an 'either or'."
Brown has been out of football since leaving Preston North End in August.
