Inverness Caledonian Thistle goalkeeper Mark Brown has signed a two-year contract following lengthy talks with the club.
The news comes as a boost to player-manager Craig Brewster who has also been told that strikers Juanjo and Steven Hislop will now miss the entire pre-season with serious injuries.
Brown said: "It seemed every month that passed the contract was nearly done but we're finally there.
"I didn't ever want to leave and having done so well this year, we're all looking forward to next season."
Juanjo is recovering from a snapped Achilles tendon while Hislop has been forced to have another knee operation.
Brewster said: "Originally we hoped both might make the start of the campaign but I still feel we only need two new bodies for next season.
"We have until the end of August to make any additions and I haven't yet been told my budget."
