Inverness Caledonian Thistle boss Craig Brewster praised the performance of St Mirren goalkeeper Chris Smith after the two sides drew 1-1 at Love Street.

The Highlanders had to settle for a point, despite having the better of the first half and leading 1-0 at the interval thanks to Grant Munro's goal.

Brewster said: "I thought we had the better of the first half and they had the better of the second half.

"They had to go for it and they put us under pressure, although Michael Fraser didn't have that many saves to make, while Chris Smith made two unbelievable saves from Ian Black and Dennis Wyness in the first half.

"Maybe on another day they might have gone in, but you've got be to be happy coming here and getting a draw."
