ICT Supporters Trust gives its backing to club chairman's stance. Inverness Caledonian Thistle Supporters Trust have backed club chairman George Fraser's comments against a 10-team SPL. Peter Murphy, Chairman of the Supporters Trust, said:"We're delighted to note Mr Fraser's comments and we are 100 per cent behind the club on the issue. "It is very pleasing that they are giving consideration to the fans' views on the proposal.  We're all agreed there is a need for change within the game in Scotland but change for the wrong reasons would not be helpful to anyone. "We have been bucking the trend in Inverness where our fans have been turning out in numbers.  We do need to freshen up the existing SPL format and reintroduce excitement to Scottish football but we must be mindful to continue to develop the grass roots activity. "Our club suffered the devastation of relegation the season before last with a severe financial impact.  If that is the price of relegation, what chance do teams suffering a similar fate have in such austere times?  We only hope that the views of supporters will be taken into consideration when the final decision on the way forward is taken."
