Tel Looking For Two On The Bounce

Butch wants two wins this week, in the cup and against SPL whipping boys Hamilton. CALEY JAGS gaffer Terry Butcher is looking for the Tannadice demolition squad to continue that form into this week - and make it 3 wins in 7 days. The 4-0 mauling dished out to Dundee Utd racks up Caley Jags' first SPL points of the campaign, and Tel said it was the best performance during his time at the club. But the boss doesn't want the team to get carried away and take the foot off the pedal in Wednesday's Co-op Cup tie with lower-league Peterhead and Saturday's game with sorry Hamilton. Butch said: "We've a big week coming up and Sunday's victory puts us in the right mood for it." "It was the best performance since I came to the club. "We used the ball well, we won it back well and I've told the players how pleased I am not just at a great result but at a display to match. "We learned from the Celtic match and there was no second half sag this time. "Let's keep it going in the midweek cup tie and then against Accies where a win would see us sitting on six points from three games, a very encouraging start."   Subscribe to Updates Via Email | Recieve News Updates Via RSS Latest Topics From the Caley Thistle Message Board Click here to share your views with other Caley Jags Fans
