Roy McBain Testimonial TONIGHT!
Don't forget to turn out tonight for the Caley Jags stalwart's big night. CALEY JAGS veteran Roy McBain will face a legends side for his testimonial tonight at the TCS - so get down there! The 36-year-old midfielder’s former club Ross County was supposed to provide the opposition, but the Dingwall club had to withdraw after reaching the Challenge Cup final. However, McBain's former team-mates at Caledonian Stadium have stepped to form a Legends XI, which will be co-managed by former Caley Jags gaffers John Robertson and Steve Paterson. McBain told the Press & Journal: "We've got Jim Calder, Bobby Mann, Barry Wilson, Dennis Wyness, Paul Sheerin, Liam Keogh and Stuart McCaffrey plus two former managers in Charlie Christie and Craig Brewster as well as a few more playing. "Apart from being guaranteed a start, I’m really looking forward to it. It's also going to be great to catch up with my old team-mates and managers. "I have a lot of happy memories playing alongside these players – they played such a big part in Caley Thistle's success."
