Ross stunner sees off Hibs

A wonderful strike from teenage sensation Nick Ross helped Caley Thistle beat Hibernian 2-0 in Inverness. The 19-year-old's volley from the edge of the area, which is a goal of the season contender, bounced in off the underside of the crossbar after 51 minutes. Richie Foran broke the deadlock after 40 minutes when his angled header from six yards went in off the post. Hibs might have reduced arrears moments when Ricardo Vaz Te found David Wotherspoon but he blasted over from just inside the area. The visitors were slightly closer with Richie Towell's effort but his low angled 20-yard shot failed to trouble the hosts' Northern Ireland international goalkeeper Jonny Tuffey. Sixteen-year-old midfielder Liam Polworth came on the last minute for Inverness to make his SPL debut.
