Paatelainen lays into 'lazy' Hibs

The manner of the loss in the Highland capital against the revitalised basement side enraged the Easter Road manager, who read the riot act for half an hour after the final whistle.[LNB]The furious Finn said: "We had too many players out there today who felt all they had to do is turn up and things would happen for them.[LNB]"The workrate wasn't good enough, although I must say that is not always the case because our players do generally apply themselves pretty well.[LNB]"However, far too many players just made an appearance and did little else. They maybe thought their talent would carry them through. I have to question whether we have the talent, players with real talent.[LNB]"Maybe there has been too much speculation or hype around certain players and they think they are better than they are. Too many players' attitudes were not right.[LNB]"All credit to the Inverness players, who were hungry to get on the ball. They had the desire to make things happen. They were on the front foot and punished us."[LNB]The result makes it four games unbeaten for Terry Butcher in charge of Inverness, whose side trimmed Falkirk's lead just above them to a single point.[LNB]The delighted Caley Jags manager said: "It was a great three points, just what we needed.[LNB]"Hibs reacted well to us when we were 1-0 up because maybe there was a bit of fear when our players found themselves ahead and with the chance to win the game.[LNB]"We have an excellent back four, who are - excuse the phrase - ugly at the right times. They are good defenders.[LNB]"We have shown that we have desire and belief and that's essential, otherwise we'd have no chance.[LNB]"Three of our next four games are at home and we hope that we can make home advantage pay.[LNB]"Hamilton Accies, in particular, have shown what can be achieved with good home form and they have taken that on to the road today with a win at Falkirk."[LNB]Butcher cannot wait to face former club Motherwell next week.[LNB]He added: "We would love to play on Monday. The disappointing thing is we have to wait till next Saturday.[LNB]"The dressing room is euphoric and that's a great sign. The change has come about because of their efforts but we haven't done anything yet.[LNB]"I can't speak for other teams but we have taken another step towards where we want to be by closing the gap. There are still a lot of games to be played, but we're on our way."[LNB][LNB]
