Odhiambo relishing Highland battle
Eric Odhiambo hopes Inverness can recover from their Clydesdale Bank Premier League slump in the Scottish Cup.
Caley Thistle host Irn-Bru Third Division side Elgin at the Caledonian Stadium in a local derby, with Odhiambo eager to put the league losses to St Mirren, Kilmarnock and St Johnstone firmly in the past.
"It's always good to try to get a good cup run," said the 21-year-old forward. "Results haven't been good of late and maybe a little break from the SPL will be good for us.
"Hopefully we can try to get a win and that will set us up for the league again. We've had a decent start to the SPL, we want to maintain that, but if we can get a good cup run alongside that, that would be great.
"We want to go as far as we can in this competition."
