Inverness Forward Eric Confident Of Rangers Repeat

Englishman Odhiambo wants to repeat his Ibrox scoring heriocs in disgracefully rearranged fixture. CALEY JAGS striker Eric Odhiambo is looking forward to tomorrow's trip to Ibrox despite the controversial rearranging of the fixture. Inverness were originally scheduled to face Rangers on January 29, but the game was switched to March 2 - then switched again at very short notice last week. Rangers were due to take on St Mirren tomorrow, but Rangers requested to bring forward their fixture with ICT instead - which was immediately granted by the SPL - and Caley Thistle are incensed that the governing body has bent over backwards yet again to accommodate one of the Glasgow giants. 21-year-old Odhiambo earned a point for Caley Thistle on their last visit to Ibrox when he netted a late equaliser as a second half substitute. And the Oxford-born forward believes that despite the circumstances of the fixture, the Caley Jags can get a result at Ibrox tomorrow. He told the Press & Journal: "No one expects us to win at Rangers, like a lot of the places we go to. We will be going there to disappoint the people who have written us off. "When we came into the league everyone thought we were going to go down. We had a different view. "People thought we were going to be fighting relegation but we have defied the odds all season up until now. "We are confident going anywhere and if we play to our strengths then we can get results like we have in the past against the Old Firm. "The goal against Rangers was the last one I scored, it was a great feeling, if I remind the manager I scored against them the last time it might help his team selection."
