Butcher hopeful over Warren

Inverness manager Terry Butcher is hopeful of having Gary Warren back for the Scottish Premiership clash with Hibernian.

The centre-back missed the League Cup win over Dundee with a knock but Butcher revealed he was "making progress".

Two other unnamed players face fitness tests but Butcher revealed they were both confident of making the game.

He added: "We are unbeaten at home, three wins out of three, and that's something to really hang on to and improve, and that's what we want to do."

Hibernian midfielder Owain Tudur Jones comes back into contention after overcoming a groin injury.

Hibs are otherwise unchanged although Paul Cairney is set to step up his comeback from an ankle injury with some under-20 action this weekend.

Daniel Handling (foot), Tim Clancy (groin) and Alex Harris (ankle) also remain out.

Hibs lost 3-0 on their last visit to Inverness in December last year and defender Ryan McGivern feels victory in the Highlands would be a real boost to their season.

"There are not many tougher games than away to Inverness," the former Manchester City player said.

"You know what you're going to get, they are a tough side to play against. They showed that last season when we went there and got beaten quite comprehensively.

"They have been on a good run but so have we and there is a lot of confidence in the group at the minute.

"The boys are buzzing and really looking forward to it. If we go up there and get a result, a lot of people will maybe pay attention and see that we are going to be a bit of a force this season."
