Highlander Sutherland In Dreamland

Birthday boy Shane is desperate for a second Old Form start this season to make his birthday dream come true. YOUNG Caley Jags striker Shane Sutherland is looking to get his birthday wish with an Ibrox appearance - and his first goal. The youngster celebrated his 20th birthday with a substitute appearance in the win at Kilmarnock last Saturday, and is now looking forward to a trip to the home of Rangers. The former Wick Academy player's only start for the club was in the CIS Cup tie at Celtic Park, but he is chomping at the bit to become a first-team regular. ICT gaffer Terry Butcher told the official Caley Thistle website: "Shane will hopefully kick on now he's not a teenager any more. "He's worked hard here and made good progress and his time will come. "It's nice to have another Highlander knocking on the first team door and getting regular game time as a sub."
